So you have to do the franchise to play in a regular season cuz I just got the game

I just started playing Madden 2021 on Xbox one now I just have a question do I have to start a franchise to play in a season

I really like this I just think next time you could mention overalls. Today I was playing madden and I had a 15 overall difference so in Sim I'm thinking I win but lo and behold I lost the game I had 100 scheme fits too. Overalls just don't matter anymore

They just need to make the off-season longer honestly to match real life. OTA’s, Minicamp and Training Camp all need to be three days each where you can do things in the off-season to improve your team like special practices or signing free agents.

i think itd be cool if they added secondary positions for players like i could have a WR/CB hybrid or RB/Safety or even like Deebo and CMC could be WR/RB RB/WR i think it would add the gameplay and players being unique you could really get invested in a player if you can make him do anything also team editor

Madden 2038 should be in development. Hopefully developers and management with brain cells might be working there by then. I digress. I would like a training camp before the preseason starts. Something tailored to the rookies we draft and free agents. Getting to play and develop them before the season. Seeing what type of player we have. Going straight to preseason and then plugging in the new players. Maybe even if we want to scout a few players. Allow us to sit with prospects and see if they are a fit for our team. Tryouts. I mean the off season could be soo in depth and I don’t think this is something the current people there can’t do. Off season is very important and developing players and changing schemes or filling holes for your team. We should have some way to test the new players out besides pre season. Compensatory draft picks would be great. Coaches and the skill tree mean soo little. I’ve played an entire season without upgrading the coaching tree.

I think with Travis Hunter will enter the draft next year, Madden should implement players can play any position in the game. I can line up Deebo Samuels at RB without having to change his position entirely or with having to select a certain playbook to do so. Also Madden should implement All-Purpose yards stats. I don’t understand why Madden never added this in their game

My biggest wish is special teams. Let me have a career as a kicker. Let us have special teams coaches with different style playbooks. Also with coaches let us be able to delegate play calling responsibilities to the coordinator My other big wish is more creativity, create a stadium, more control over relocation uniforms ....

What do you think about being able to see the Combine? that would include animations by positions, for example being able to see the tests of the WRs and that small and imperceptible details could be seen where, if you detect them, you will discover some interesting attribute of that player

Can't really commit to Madden without expansion/contraction. Don't care that it's an NFL reatriction. It wouldn't hurt to have and is less player options to not have. Contraction especially would be huge with online franchises, particularly if paired with baseline division and season length altering. Imagine a 24 team no-conference 14 game league. Or even a 32 team league but you and 3 friends get to play 4 teams you actually kind of like in the same division. And expansion is just a better flavor of relocation. Not even 100% committed tovthe create-a-team that should also exist. I can live with 4 preloaded team/ names/ colors. But having the same 32 teams with a limited run of options can really deter any standard run after the first 1.

can you do quick presentation in franchise games? I hate the forced replays in madden 23, im trying to get through the games fast

Expansion should come to Madden NFL so you can create teams like a Melbourne team, a Swifties team, etc.

this review was very helpful. Now that NCAA is coming back I’ll be doing the full franchise mode experience with drafting the NCAAF draft class from the college game so I think that’s part of the motivation to get this right

How about a legends pool like Nba2k would be awesome.Instead of MUT you can use them in franchise mode

I'll do anything for EA to bring back every removed feature in their respective sports video games.

They will never do it ,but I just want presentation like 2k5 with a weekly show and the presentation of 2k5.

I really hope they do more customized stuff , customize uniforms , create a team that we can use in franchise And use players from generations on the same team

I played franchise for awhile now and had to turn off the injury mode off😂 literally after every play some one was getting hurt

Ill believe it when i see it. I want specialized character build for players coaches owners . I want offensive and defensive coordinator jobs. I want combine play time watch as coach or owner. If your the player then you participate in the combine. I want to be able to create my own schemes like a complete 5-2 defensive.

It's crazy that all of these things are already in NBA 2K's MyLeague franchise mode. These are things that should already be there. They should really be working on improving the gameplay.

Player movement needs to be addressed. I understand it’s a game however, more fluid and responsive control has to be priority. The running looks awkward and robotic.

They just need to stop making games and you all need to stop buying

I like the list, but for me top priority has to be a return to a better physics based game engine. Frostbite is just not good for football. Way too many forced animations that warp or suck in players that don’t make sense. A lot of power backs getting pushed back by smaller DB’s in space when momentum should carry them forward. Blocks that fail because linemen get sucked into odd animations. If the game is going to really get better it has to start with game play, and that starts with the game engine.

I like your wish list but you are forgetting the biggest thing and you made it by far to complicated…. Sure… you can make it HARDER for yourself to win SBs. But for most of us… after you win a SB… or 2… or 3… or 5 lol. There is no sense of ACCOMPLISHMENT. You advance the week aaaaaaand everything is reset. There is no sense that the league REMEMBERS your team is the champs or dynasty status or whatever. We need more of a satisfying feeling of accomplishment.
